SAF: Situation in El-Fashir Under total Control, Attack Imminent (Rumor)

The command of the 6th Infantry Division in El-Fashir called on citizens to disregard the misleading messages and malicious rumors being spread by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia these days regarding an imminent attack on the city or its claims of encircling it from several directions.
The 6th Division confirmed that these claims are nothing but lies aimed at spreading panic and displacement among the population. It urged citizens to immediately report any suspicious movements or strange figures, emphasizing the need to verify the identity of anyone wearing military uniform, as not everyone wearing such uniforms belongs to the regular or joint forces.
The 6th Infantry Division announced, in a press release, the successful destruction of two ZS vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunition, using drones.
The two vehicles were on their way to locations the militias planned to convert into support and supply points for their attacking forces.
The 6th Infantry Division stated that the operation resulted in the deaths of all personnel aboard the two vehicles, representing significant progress in the armed forces’ efforts to secure the area.
The division stated that regular forces, supported by joint forces, popular resistance, and mobilized residents, continued intensive combing operations in El-Fashir neighborhoods on Friday, with the aim of preventing the infiltration of subversive elements and ensuring the protection of citizens’ property from looting and theft.
The 6th Division indicated that rebel militias launched several drones targeting various areas within El-Fashir, but failed to hit any valuable targets, due to the vigilance and preparedness of the forces deployed in the city.
The 6th Division confirmed that El-Fashir is witnessing relative stability and that the security situation is under full control, noting the steadfastness and cohesion of the forces, who are working in full coordination to protect the city and its people.
