SAF retakes (Al-Rahad) and breaks (Al-Obied) siege

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced its control over the city of Al-Rahad in North Kordofan State after fierce battles against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that lasted for days.

Al-Rahad is the second city in North Kordofan State to be regained in the past two weeks from the grip of the RSF militia, as the army took control of Om Rawaba Locality, the second largest city in North Kordofan, on January 30.

The media “Al-Sayyad” Advancing Forces, a mobile force affiliated with the Sudanese army, published a video clip of the command and control chamber, in which it said that the city of Al-Rahad is free after defeating the militia.
