SAF isolates RSF militia in Bahri and puts it in a “PINCER”
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) fought violent operations and battles in the city of Bahri on a number of fronts and were able to inflict crushing defeats on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
A military source told (Sudanese Echoes) that the Bahri cleaning operations are proceeding according to the plans, tactics and (timing) that were set for it, stressing the success of the goal of isolating the militia in small (islands) and putting it in a pincer and preventing the access of supplies to and from its gatherings.
The source, who requested anonymity, confirmed that the Sudanese Armed Forces will work to clean the capital from the filth, pockets and dens of the militia, adding that the plan is proceeding according to what is required and necessitated by need, heralding broad victories coinciding with the country’s celebrations of the 69th anniversary of Independence Day.
The artillery and the Air Force began a large-scale operational movement on the ground to target the bases and gatherings of the Al-Dagalo militia since dawn today, while there were reports of the arrival of the Special Forces and (Support) and their control over (Al-Hawa Street) to cut off the militia’s supply from Eastern Nile to Bahri city and thus neutralize its elements.
It is noteworthy that the greater city of Bahri is considered the key stronghold of the militia in the capital, which includes 3 large camps, namely the Shambat Parachutes, Kafouri, in addition to Eastern Nile.
The Air Force – Missile Fighters – provided extensive air cover and struck a (fright) of 22 militia combat vehicles that were coming from East Nile to Bahri, while heavy artillery strikes continued from the Wadi Sayedna area on the militia’s positions with more than 150 shells since 2 am until the time of writing the news.
In the context of the operations, but in the western sector of Omdurman, the strategic artillery targeted fuel and ammunition stores in the Saliha camp and its surroundings at 3 am, and its fire and explosions escalated to be seen and heard in Karari, according to eyewitnesses to (Sudanese Echoes).
