SAF: El-Fashir is Secure… The Situation is Under Control

The Sixth Infantry Division in El-Fashir said that the situation in the city is under control, denying that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are approaching the neighborhoods and sites near the Division Headquarters.

The Command of the Sixth Infantry Division said, in a statement, that the forces are advancing and open on all fronts. It stressed that what was circulated on social media about the presence of the militia in the Grand Market, Al-Salam neighborhood, Al-Gadi neighborhood, Al-Azhari building, and the police headquarters is baseless. It indicated that the forces are successfully pounding the strongholds of the “rebels” by land and air, amid great cohesion among the elements in the field.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Joint Force, Ahmed Hussein, said, in a statement received by (Sudanese Echoes), that El-Fashir is secure, explaining that the militia continues to spread false rumors to terrorize citizens.

Hussein stressed that the SAF, the joint force, the popular self-defense force, the popular resistance, the police, and the General Intelligence Service continue to confront all attempted attacks that have exceeded 150 attacks.

The spokesman for the joint force revealed that the joint force has developed plans to move from a defensive to an offensive position, as the entire territory of Darfur and Sudan will soon be cleansed of the Janjaweed.
