SAF destroys RSF militia strongholds in El-Fashir

Clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) supported by the joint forces and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia have resumed in El-Fashir.

Eyewitnesses said that El-Fashir witnessed an exchange of artillery shelling between the army and the militia since the early morning hours, before direct confrontations erupted between the two parties in the southeastern hub of the city, in which all types of weapons were used.

An army warplane carried out a series of intensive air strikes targeting militia positions in the eastern part, where loud explosions were heard and columns of smoke rose.

A circular issued by the command of the Sixth Infantry Division said that its forces had made progress in the southeastern axis, and had seized a number of militia strongholds and inflicted heavy losses on them in lives
