RSF militia’s intelligence commander in Al-Mujlad killed by his personal guard

Events in West Kordofan have taken a new turn within the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

As chaos spread and the rate of killings and liquidations among militia members increased, the personal guard of the militia’s intelligence commander in Al-Mujlad, Mekki Herigan, killed him.

Meanwhile, the Chadian militia commander “Al-Futi” fled in West Kordofan and survived an assassination attempt by Misseriya militia members.

Sources confirmed that internal disputes within the militia have become increasingly violent in Al-Fula, Abu Zabad, Al-Mujlad, and Al-Nuhud.

The areas of Kordofan under the militia’s control are witnessing a massive displacement of militia families and members to Darfur states following the deterioration of the situation and the increase in fighting and liquidations among militia commanders.
