RSF Militia Withdraws from Areas West of El-Obeid

Sources cited by Nabd Sudan reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has begun withdrawing from areas west of El-Obeid, including the towns of Al-Khuwai and Al-Nuhud.

According to the same sources, RSF units are regrouping in the far southern part of West Kordofan State.

The sources stressed that the militia has fully pulled out from the positions it previously controlled west of El-Obeid—most notably Al-Khuwai and Al-Nuhud—and clarified that the withdrawal is intended to consolidate RSF forces within a defined geographic zone in West Kordofan’s far south.
