RSF militia Transfer Recruits from Nyala to Training in a Country Neighboring Sudan

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and its sponsor, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), have begun implementing new recruitment campaigns, including forced recruitment in South Darfur State and a neighboring country, in preparation for the compensation of troops killed by the Sudanese army.
Three sources revealed to Darfur 24 that the militia has carried out large-scale recruitment and training operations in South Darfur and a neighboring country, in preparation for building a new army and abandoning the civil mobilization.
The militia relies heavily on fighters mobilized by local community leaderships in Darfur and Kordofan, as well as armed groups such as the Third Front – Tamazuj, led by Qureshi Ali.
The sources said that large groups of young men have flocked to Nyala to join the conscription after being lured with large sums of money. They indicated that these groups were mobilized by former militia members from the areas of Um Dafug, Kabra, Tulus, Kass, and the areas of Balabil, before heading to Nyala for training. The sources reported that the new recruits are present at government headquarters in Nyala, such as the guest house and the Ministry of Education’s educational rehabilitation headquarters, in preparation for their transfer to training camps in Um Al-Qura town, Wadi Ander, the Fasha mountains in the Balil locality, and the Domaya suburb west of Nyala.
A source explained that the militia has become reluctant to use the civilian mobilization system to recruit fighters due to their lack of discipline and disobedience to field commanders’ orders.
He said that the rebel militia has resorted to recruiting young men and training them on modern weapons before sending them to combat zones.
Other sources reported that the militia transported recruits to a neighboring country via Nyala International Airport, where they are being trained on advanced weapons and drones.
One of the soldiers who received training in this country told Darfur 24 that they received advanced training there before being dispatched via the desert axis.
