RSF militia distributes (counterfeit dollars) as salaries to its members

The Rapid Support Forcers (RSF) militia has paid salaries to some of its militia members in dollars after salaries were stopped for nearly two years since the start of the April 15, 2023 war. An informed sources revealed that the militia handed over counterfeit dollars to its members.

The sources explained that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) supply planes that arrived in Neyala were carrying large quantities of counterfeit dollars, and when the currency was changed, the militia was forced to distribute them to stop discontent and grumbling among the forces.

RSF militia soldiers confirmed to (Darfur 24) that they received their salaries for the first time in dollars. Sources said that the command of the forces decided to give its members their salaries in the coming period in dollars at a rate of $300 per month.
