Rapid Support Forces Commander Negotiates Surrender with Sudanese Army

Military sources reported that a field commander of the Rapid Support Forces has entered direct negotiations with the Sudanese Armed Forces regarding surrender in the Kordofan region.

According to the sources, this move comes amid increasing military pressure on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia across multiple fronts, prompting some of its commanders to seek a negotiated exit that would ensure their safety and halt further combat losses.

The sources added that the negotiations are still in their early stages, with the Sudanese army approaching the process with extreme caution due to the current military and political complexities.
