Rapes, forced expatriation and mass exodus due to a retaliatory campaign by the Rapid Support Forces in Al-Gezira
Local activists in Al-Gezira State revealed that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militias are practicing forced repatriation operations in the cities of Tamboul and Rafa’a and other villages in the state, while others are missing due to the interruption of communication networks, while hundreds of families were forced to flee the retaliatory campaigns by the Rapid Support Forces that were launched several days ago.
The RSF militia forces are launching a large-scale revenge campaign in the eastern areas of Al-Gezira for the third day, following the surrender of the commander of the Al-Gezira Sector, Abu Agla Kaykal, to the Sudanese army the day before yesterday.
The Resistance Committees of the city of Rafa’a said that the RSF militia stormed homes with the aim of robbing and plundering in fierce revenge campaigns that are the strongest of their kind, noting receiving news of a number of rapes.
The Resistance Committees added that the RSF militia carried out a forced displacement operation for citizens inside Rafa’a, and forced them to leave their homes or face certain death, which prompted most of them to head to the villages adjacent to the city “Sefaita, Al-Sagiea, Al-Ezeiba” and others.
The Resistance Committees stated that another expatriation operation took place in the village of Al-Sharafa Al-Bahr, where the residents were forced to leave their homes and were pursued again and a series of violations occurred and a number of people were killed and wounded.
The committees confirmed that artillery shelling operations were carried out by the outlaw RSF militia against the village of Dalawat Al-Bahar, after the villagers resisted and prevented the militia from entering their village.
For its part, the (Nidaa Al-Wasat) platform in the state confirmed continuation of the citizens exodus from the city of “Tambool” after the “RSF Gangs” invaded the city twice and practiced the most heinous types of assaults, abuse and torture against all those present in the city, which resulted in dozens of victims and missing persons, in addition to continuous waves of displacement outside the city to escape the brutality of the militia.
The platform revealed that the gangs attacked the city of “Al-Hilaliya” of the East Al-Gezira Locality and assaulted the defenseless citizens and opened fire on them, which led to the martyrdom of the citizen (Mohamed Mahjoub Jangl), while others were injured.
Nidaa Al-Wasat platform said that the RSF gangs continue their attacks one after the other on the villages, east of Al-Gezira State, targeting unarmed citizens with their fire, which led to the martyrdom of dozens of them, adding that the RSF gangs are still forcing them to displace from their villages.
The platform stated that the village of “Al-Sigaia” in the countryside of Rafa’a was invaded and the gangs practiced terrorism against the citizens, which led to the martyrdom of Elias Wad Al-Mamoun.
