Rabah Al-Mahdi: (Bormah) participation in the parallel government is (suicide) for him and (slaughter) for the party

The announcement of the parallel government in Sudan in the areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia was postponed from (Monday) February 17 to February 18 (Tuesday), while the Head of the Revolutionary Front, Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement-Transitional Council, Al-Hadi Idris, claimed that there were guarantees from many countries to recognize their government. He said that the charter of their government is open to all, welcoming the army to sign it – according to his claim –
Al-Hadi claimed, in an interview with (Al-Jazeera Mubasher) on Sunday that the capital of their government will be Khartoum, indicating that the $200 million donated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ethiopia will be received by their government. He strongly defended the militia and denied that the militia is attacking civilian facilities.
In the same context, Al-Hadi confirmed that the National Umma Party (NUP) is participating with them in the government led by the party’s Head, Bormah Nassir, describing the party’s differences over the matter as a (family matter) that has nothing to do with them. He pointed out that the party’s deputy leader, Mariam Al-Sadig, stipulated that they have some ministerial portfolios to sign on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the NUP leader and daughter of the late party leader Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi (Rabah), described the participation of the party’s leader, Bormah Nassir, in the parallel government as political suicide for him and an attempt to slaughter the party. “But no way,” she continued, stressing that Bormah’s choices are his alone, while the party was built by struggles and established on democratic, institutional and national foundations and principles.
She added, “No one has the right and no one can, regardless of his position, throw it into such garbage by the standards of truth, homeland and principles.” Rabah acquitted the party of this downfall. She called on the party’s institutions to review it before he commits suicide. She added, “If he insists and is arrogant, let him go to the division and domestication plans implemented by the RSF militia for the UAE and those behind it, and let the party’s banner remain high and fluttering.”
