Prime Minister directs development of a rapid and effective plan to set back universities to Khartoum

 

Prime Minister Kamel El-Tayib Idris has issued strict directives for the return of Sudanese universities to the capital, Khartoum, and the commencement of comprehensive maintenance operations on the buildings of educational institutions damaged as a result of the attacks carried out by rebel militias on universities and research centers.

 

 

The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Higher Education to implement a rapid and effective plan to get back universities and research centers to Khartoum, stressing that the restoration of universities represents a pivotal step towards national recovery and the restoration of the state’s institutional and intellectual well-being.

 

 

Meanwhile, Idris directed the National Center for Curriculum and Educational Research to include new lessons in the educational curriculum, focusing on rejecting hate speech and promoting the values ​​of tolerance and a unified national identity, as part of a major project dubbed “Comprehensive National Recovery.”
