On Ethnic Basis… RSF Militia Executes 13 Civilians, Including Children and Women, in El-Fashir

The Sudanese Doctors Network condemned the heinous massacre carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia on ethnic grounds in North Darfur State, which resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including five children, four women, and four elderly people, on the El-Fashir-Tawila road.
The network confirmed, in a statement on Sunday, that “a militia force committed a brutal crime by executing the victims in a horrific manner in the Golo Dam area,” adding that “this crime represents a new episode in the series of ethnic cleansing and genocide against defenseless civilians in Darfur, in flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws.”
The Sudanese Doctors Network emphasized that “the systematic targeting of children, women, and the elderly proves that the Rapid Support Forces militia is pursuing an organized policy of displacing citizens from their land on ethnic grounds, which constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a crime against humanity.”
It asserted that this contradicts the Rapid Support Forces’ calls for citizens to leave El-Fashir.
The network held the militia fully responsible for these ongoing massacres and called on the international community and the Security Council to take immediate action to halt the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing through urgent resolutions against its commanders.
