Nuba Mountains Prepares Hundreds of Fighters to Open Kadugli-Delling-Ad-Dabaibat-Al-Obied Road

The Native Administration in Kadugli has held a press conference on the repercussions of the current economic and security situation, its consequences, and proposed solutions at the residence of Emir Kafi Tayara Al-Badin.

The conference affirmed their full commitment and support to supporting the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity and the cleansing of the country from the filth of the thugs and mercenaries of the terrorist Daglo family militia and their mercenaries, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), Abdelaziz al-Hilu.

Kafi Tayara called on the federal government to arm the mobilized Popular Resistance fighters to deploy them as part of the force to open the national road linking Kadugli-Delling-Ad-Dabaibat-Al-Obied.

He pointed out that more than 1,264 fighters are currently equipped and need to be armed, calling on the SPLM-N al-Hilu to use reason and consider the future of generations.

He stated that the ongoing war in the state has lasted for approximately forty-two years, and the SPLM-N has reaped nothing but destruction and devastation. The Nuba people called on the SPLM-N to abandon Al-Hilu and his blind allegiance to the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and support the armed forces.

Regarding the living conditions, Kafi Tayara called on merchants to abandon their monopoly on goods and commodities aimed at starving citizens, describing the monopoly as an internal rebellion against the state.

The Deputy Chieftain of Kadugli Chiefdom, Fakhreddin Ahmed Shaddad, emphasized that resolving the crisis and the difficult living conditions in the state can only be achieved through two approaches: the first is for citizens to engage and advance in the Battle of Dignity, liberate the city of Ad-Dabaibat by force, and lift the imposed siege. The second is for the government to take measures and decisions, involving the civil administration, to overcome the trade defect.
