New Decisions Expected on Gold Market Regulation and Import Controls in Sudan

The Economic Emergency Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Kamil Idris, convened on Wednesday morning.

 

 

The meeting discussed the decree establishing the committee, the implementation of the decision to purchase gold, and the regulation of its market.

 

 

It also reviewed efforts to combat smuggling, measures to control imports, and ways to improve other exports.

 

 

New decisions are expected to be issued on the agreed issues, along with the formation of committees for follow-up and implementation.
