Militia prevents gold mining in South Darfur mines, arrests dozens of miners

 

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia arrested dozens of miners in (Singo) mines in Al-Radom Park in South Darfur.

 

The militia is prospecting for gold in the mines of the region, most including (Agbash, Al-Thuraya, Kasra, Jumana, Gumbila, Sarfaya, Om Hajara, Najm Wad Al-Fashir, and Hafrat-Al-Nahas).

 

An eyewitness from the town of Singo told (Darfur 24) that the militia arrested about 58 miners in the gold mines and deported them to the city of Neyala.
