Medical personnel Among the victims , 37 cases of rape among women and girls in Rafa’a

Al-Gezira Conference revealed that 37 cases of rape were monitored in the Rafa’a city and the surrounding villages in Al-Gezira State during the past 5 days.

The Secretary-General of Al-Gezira Conference, Al-Mubir Mahmoud, said that they monitored 37 cases of rape, including 3 cases that occurred on medical cadres at Rafa’a Hospital, while 34 cases were recorded among women and girls in Rafa’a and the surrounding villages during the 5 days during which the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia invaded those areas.
Al-Mubir Mahmoud disclosed that a girl was kidnapped in the Tamboul area by the RSF militia, adding that her family is now searching for her in the villages neighboring the Tamboul area.
