Mass protests by Sudanese in Europe to demand lifting of El-Fashir siege

Governor of Darfur Region Minni Arko Minnawi is scheduled to address Sudanese demonstrators today in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

The Darfur community associations, in coordination with Sudanese civil society organizations, called for a mass rally to denounce the ongoing siege imposed by the terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of El-Fashir.

Organizers said the protest sends a strong message to the international conscience, urging an end to the bloodshed

and the lifting of the siege on civilians in El-Fashir.
