Internal clashes between two RSF groups in South Darfur

Traders closed their shops in the Beleil market near the city of Nyala in South Darfur, in anticipation of expected looting operations, due to security tensions between two armed groups in the area.
The city of Beleil witnessed armed clashes on Monday between two groups affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, after disputes broke out between them inside the market, before they went out to the south of the railway to exchange gunfire, which led to the death of one of their members and the injury of two citizens, Malik Suleiman and Abdullah Osman Al-Omda.
A native chieftain in the city of Beleil told (Darfur 24) that the disputes were between a group of RSF militia belongs to the mayor Al-Hadi Al-Sayer, and another group belongs to the leadership of one of the tribes, which led to great congestion in the city and security tensions.
