Interior Minister: Politicians who left prisons pledged to give in themselves at the end of the war

The Sudanese Minister of Interior, Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Khalil Pasha Sayreen, announced the formation of a committee to review the granting of national numbers to citizens and those who obtained Sudanese nationality during the previous period to determine who deserves the national number and who deserves to have it taken away from them.

 

 

The minister said, in an interview with (Sudanese Echoes), that they will study the issue of national numbers and work to correct the course by reviewing all national numbers through what is known as (the family tree).

 

In a parallel context, the minister confirmed that the security services monitored all criminals and convicts who left prisons after the militia broke the prisons, including politicians.

He said that the politicians pledged to surrender themselves to the authorities whenever things return to normal.
