Intense Airstrikes on El-Fashir Kill Hundreds of Janjaweed Fighters

Sudanese warplanes and drones carried out intense airstrikes on El-Fashir, military sources said, adding that the strikes resulted in the killing of hundreds of Janjaweed fighters and the destruction of dozens of combat vehicles.

The militia had committed brutal massacres in El-Fashir after taking over the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division, which had withdrawn to a safe location outside the city.
