Inflation rate drops in Sudan

The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) disclosed, on Thursday, that the rate of change in prices – inflation – decreased in September 2024 to 215.52% from 218.18% recorded in August.

The annual inflation rate is measured by the change in the general price level for the current month compared to its counterpart last year, i.e. it is a measure of the change in prices during a year.
