Increase of Minimum Wage in Sudan in 2025 Budget

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Abdullah Ibrahim, revealed the most important features of the state’s draft emergency budget for the fiscal year 2025, which he described as an unconventional budget and that it is primarily directed to the requirements of the Battle of Dignity.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance said that the draft budget includes raising the minimum wage and giving priority to paying pensioners’ dues at the national and state levels, stressing the budget’s commitment to paying the salaries of employees in government units by 100%.
