In which Hamdok is taking part … Meetings begin in Nairobi to form a (parallel government)

The so-called Broad Civil Front began meetings on Monday afternoon in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, with the participation of the Coordination Body of Civil Democratic Forces “Taqaddam”, the Arab Socialist Baath Party (ASBP), the Sudan Liberation Army Movement (SLAM) led by Abdel-Wahid al-Nur, and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM)-North led by Abdel-Aziz al-Hilu.
The SLAM Head, Abdel-Wahid al-Nur, had stated that his movement had taken the initiative to call for the formation of a broad civil front working to stop the war, noting that its most important conditions are that all components of this front be independent and not a party to the war.
According to political sources who spoke to (Al-Taghyeer), the meetings are discussing the possibility of some of the entities that make up the (Taqaddam) Coordination Committee participating in a civilian government that is being prepared to begin its work in areas controlled by the RSF militia.
The meetings, in which former Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok is participating, will be held during January 20 – 23.
