In Trump’s presence… Pledges from Mohammed bin Salman regarding Sudan

During his speech at the Gulf-US Summit held today in the capital, Riyadh, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman affirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to continuing its active role in resolving the Sudanese crisis, through the Jeddah Forum, which enjoys joint Saudi-US sponsorship.

The Saudi Crown Prince explained that the Kingdom, in cooperation with the United States, seeks through this forum to achieve a complete and comprehensive ceasefire in Sudan, ensuring the restoration of security and stability and preserving Sudan’s unity and territorial integrity.

Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed that resolving the Sudanese crisis is a regional priority, given its humanitarian and security repercussions. He noted that ongoing efforts are based on dialogue between the Sudanese parties and creating appropriate conditions for resuming the political process.
