Investigation: Al-Taj Osman
An investigative report conducted by Sudanese Echoes revealed alarming information about the involvement of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, led by Hemeidti, in flooding Sudan with various types of drugs to destroy the minds of young people.
The investigation revealed that the militia cultivated large areas of the Al-Radom Reserve with the drug “cannabis”, locally known as “Bango”, with an estimated 500 tons produced annually.
Sources confirmed the militia’s involvement and cooperation with the international drug mafia in smuggling cocaine and heroin to Europe via Southeast Asia.
In the same context, the investigation highlighted the circumstances surrounding the militia’s targeting of the headquarters of the General Directorate for Drug Control in Khartoum and the states, the destruction of the main reference laboratory for testing drug samples, and the ransacking and destruction of hospitals and centers working in the field of drug rehabilitation.
