Heavy Explosions Rock Nyala Amid Reports of Senior RSF-Linked Officials Killed
The Sudanese Air Force carried out heavy strikes against the militia in Nyala.
According to journalist Abdel-Raouf Taha, who is close to the army, the air force targeted Nyala and sites in the city center.
Taha reported violent explosions shaking downtown with thick smoke rising.
In the same context, exclusive sources told Al-Onwan 24 that the powerful explosion that rocked Nyala on Sunday evening was not an accident but a precise operation by the Sudanese Air Force.
The sources explained that the air raids targeted Al-Dhaman Hotel in the city center, killing 57 people, including foreign mercenaries and senior leaders of the “parallel Ta’sis government,” in addition to a large number of wounded.
The sources added that the airstrikes were not limited to the hotel but also hit another site in the city, killing 23 members of the rebel Rapid Support Forces.
