Government of Sudan welcomes visions of all Sudanese to form an interim government to prepare for elections

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Awad Ali has stressed that the government opens the doors for all Sudanese people, with all their sects and parties, for creating favourable conditions for the next stage of war, adding that the government welcomes all visions on the formation of an interim government headed by a prime minister to pave the way for the general elections.

 

 

Ali added, in a joint press conference with the official spokesman for the government and the Minister of Culture and Information after briefing ambassadors, heads of diplomatic and consular missions and international organizations in Portsudan on Monday, that the armed forces will remain responsible for preserving the security and stability of the country from the dangers that threaten its security and territorial integrity.

 

 

The Foreign Minister explained that the government will knock on all doors to reach a just peace that achieves the Sudanese people’s ambition to vanquish the militia militarily by the armed forces that guarantee the homeland’s soil, calling on all Sudanese to unite and stand behind the armed forces and support them to cross this stage with dignity and honor.
