Government: Militia brought in more than 200,000 mercenaries
The Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan Al-Fatih Mohamed Issa Tayfour said that there are reports that more than 200,000 mercenaries have entered Sudan to fight alongside the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia against the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).
According to Al- Tayfour, there are reports that more than 200,000 mercenaries have entered Sudan from a number of countries. He stated, in his statement to (Anadolu Agency), that the last of these mercenaries are Colombians, and there are well-known neighboring countries from which the mercenaries entered. He added, “These Colombians were brought from overseas to destroy the infrastructure,” noting that the Colombian government apologized and said that these people had been deceived. “120 mercenaries have been arrested and will be tried according to Sudanese laws in fair trials that meet all the requirements for a fair trial.” He explained.
