Government Discloses Secret of Stability of Relationship with Russia

 

Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander Malik Aggar, met in his office in Portsudan with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sudan, Andrei Chernovol.

 

TSC Vice-President stressed that Sudan’s relationship with Russia is a strategic relationship, due to Sudan’s belief that Russia follows a respectable foreign policy based on non-interference in the internal affairs of countries, which is the secret of the stability of relations between the two countries.

 

 

The meeting touched on Sudan’s relations with the West and the role of some of those countries in fueling the conflict and prolonging the war in Sudan.

 

He explained that the Quartet Mechanism was an example, as it was exploited as a tool to destroy political stability in Sudan.

The meeting also discussed the Sudanese government’s strategy in dealing with Western countries in building relations based on the interests of Sudan and its people.
