Former Sudanese Minister Calls for Severing Ties with Kenya and Expelling Ambassador

A former minister called on the Sudanese government to sever its ties with Kenya immediately after the Janjaweed government is announced from Nairobi.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and parties supporting the militia intend to announce a political charter and form a parallel government to the government on Tuesday in Nairobi.
The leader of the Islamic Movement and former minister, during the Al-Bashir era, Amin Hassan Omar, demanded, in a post on Facebook, that the Kenyan ambassador be expelled from Sudan within 24 hours if the Janjaweed government is announced from Kenya.
Omar stressed that Kenyan President Ruto is an economic and political partner of the Janjaweed commander. He said, “Relations with Kenya must be severed immediately and the Kenyan ambassador expelled.” “Do not underestimate the sovereignty of the homeland and do not accept positions of humiliation.” He continued.
