For the second consecutive day, RSF militia attacks the Sudanese capital with drones

Drones launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia attacked military and civilian areas in the Sudanese capital early Wednesday, for the second consecutive day.

The Sudanese army’s air defenses intercepted more than 10 assault drones that attacked the military area north of Omdurman for more than an hour.

Residents of Omdurman heard loud explosions before sunrise and saw flashes from the blasts, coinciding with the buzzing of drones heading to their targets. Smoke rose as a result of the drone attacks from the vicinity of the military area in Sirkab, north of Omdurman.

Field sources told Sudan Tribune that the drones also attacked early Wednesday the Shadoul camp belonging to military intelligence in Al-Kadro suburb, north of Khartoum North.
