EX. Sudan’s FM: Sudan’s War Has Turned into a Regional War… Some Sudanese Politicians Have Sold Their Souls to the Devil

Former Sudanese Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed said that the war in Sudan has now shifted from a confrontation between the army and a rebel militia to a regional war. He said that what happened in Portsudan two or three days ago, and is still happening, is an aggression against Sudan by regional powers and countries with a vested interest in seeing this aggression continue and take new forms.

In an interview with Al Jazeera Net, Al-Dirdiri emphasized that dividing Sudan into five countries is absolutely out of the question.

In a related context, Al-Dirdiri attacked some Sudanese politicians, accusing them of selling their souls to the devil.
He explained that the majority of Sudanese politicians support the army, except for a few who, as he put it, have sold their souls to the devil.
