Emergency Security Plan in Sudan to impose State prestige and Rule of Law
Sudan’s new Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Babiker Samra, has confirmed that Sudan is facing serious security challenges, affirming the country’s ability to overcome them.
He praised the victories achieved by the armed and the supporting forces, adding that the armed forces are capable of vanquishing the terrorist militias.
Following his swearing-in before President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan and Prime Minister Kamil Idris, the Minister of Interior highlighted the role of his Ministry in the coming period in establishing security and providing services to citizens. He noted that an emergency security plan will be developed to enforce state prestige and the rule of law.
He continued, “We are aware of the ministry’s responsibilities under both normal and extraordinary circumstances that Sudan is currently experiencing, but nothing is impossible.”
