Egyptian-UAE Talks Discuss Developments in Gaza and Sudan
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aati met with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the Sir Bani Yas Forum.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the Palestinian issue and the situation in the West Bank, the implementation of the second phase of U.S. President Trump’s peace plan in Gaza, as well as developments in Sudan and coordination within the framework of the Quartet, and the situations in Yemen, Syria, and Libya.
The ministers agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and consultation to support efforts to achieve security and stability in the region and to strengthen joint Arab action.
