Egyptian businessman: We will cooperate with Sudanese businessmen to rebuild what was vandalizeed by the war in Sudan

The Egyptian businessman Fathallah Fawzi said that the Sudanese own several properties in Egypt. He estimated the size of Sudanese investments in Egypt at about 20 billion dollars.
Fathallah hoped, during an interview with the (Sudanese Echoes) platform, that the situation in Sudan would stabilize and the army would take control of matters.
In the same context, he said that the cost of construction in Sudan is very expensive due to the high prices of building materials, referring to his experience during the construction of the Yasmin project in 2005, which he established in partnership with the Pension Fund to implement the (Yasmin) villas project. He explained that he was able to convince the Head of the Pension Fund to carry out this project in partnership with them on the land, because the most important raw material in real estate business is land, adding that the Yasmin project in Sudan was a rich experience for him.
Regarding the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the war in Sudan, he announced their readiness to cooperate with Sudanese businessmen, explaining that they will coordinate with official parties and donor entities in the Gulf on the issue of reconstruction. He pointed out to their efforts to increase the volume of trade exchange between Sudan and Egypt, stating that they have a number of bodies that include Sudanese businessmen to coordinate on the matter in all fields, stressing the necessity of the integration between the two countries.
