Dozens of Foreigners Deported Out of Khartoum

 

Idris Liman, Assistant Commissioner for Refugees in Khartoum, witnessed the resumption of refugee deportations from Khartoum to the White Nile.

 

 

This move came as part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to control foreign presence in the country, with the attendance of the international partner, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

 

 

Security services deported 69 foreigners to refugee camps in the White Nile.

 

 

Lyman stated that this move is part of ongoing efforts to control all forms of foreign presence.

 

 

He revealed that a large group of refugees had been deported in several batches previously.

 

 

Lyman confirmed the existence of a timeline and plan for the deportation of foreigners.
