Death of Field Commanders from the Al-Dagalo Militia and Hundreds of Mercenaries in Babanusa Battle

The 22nd Infantry Division announced that it had repelled a fierce attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

In a statement received by Sudanese Echoes, the division said it succeeded in thwarting an assault carried out by the Al-Dagalo militia at dawn on Tuesday, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment.

The division affirmed that it seized a large number of combat vehicles and destroyed several others during the confrontation.

According to the statement, the outcome of the battle included the elimination of a significant number of the militia’s field commanders along with hundreds of mercenaries.
