(Counter-spy) carries out intensive activity to uncover sleeper cells in Khartoum

The Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, inspected today the front lines of Wad Al-Bashir advancve force.

The wali of Khartoum took note on the progress of the advancve force in the areas of Ombada, as the commander of the advance force confirmed that his forces are carrying out qualitative operations among the enemy in a number of locations.

The governor of Khartoum visited the customs headquarters in the popular market of Omdurman, which was exposed to a near-total fire, praising the customs personnel present at the site, pointing to the efforts made by the Omdurman locality to restore activity to the popular market.

Hamza also visited the headquarters of counter-intelligence where he briefed on its activity in uncovering sleeper cells (fifth columns) and providing information support to the headship of the Battle of Dignity.

The Wali of Khartoum State expressed great concern witjh the activity of (counter-intelligence), considering its important work that is consistent with the government’s plans to secure the state, urging the necessity of coordination with the security cell and the joint raft to uncover sleeper cells and acts of sabotage and theft carried out by organized gangs.
