Cholera cases in Sudan rise to more than 23,000

The Ministry of Health has revealed an increase in cholera cases in the states of Sennar, Gezira and White Nile in central Sudan, while the total number of cases reached 23,736 cases, including 672 deaths.

The ministry said, in a statement, that cholera cases are increasing in the areas of Managil, Sennar and White Nile.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health revealed an augment in dengue fever cases, spreading in 6 states, to 2,075 cases, after recording 25 new cases in Kassala.
