Chadian Forces Arrest RSF Militia Members

Chadian forces have arrested eight members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the Chadian town of Tina after they crossed into Chadian territory under circumstances described as unclear.

According to sources cited by Darfur24, Chadian authorities detained the eight-armed men while they were traveling in a combat vehicle shortly after crossing the border. Initial checks indicated that the group had become lost in the desert and separated from their unit before inadvertently entering Chad while attempting to find their way.

The sources added that the authorities have launched extensive interrogations of the detainees. They are expected to be transferred to the city of Um Jarass to complete the necessary legal and security procedures.
