Bypassing the minefields” … SAF tightens its grip on the refinery

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) tightened their grip on Al-Gaili refinery and penetrated inside it to closing its gates to the outside and inside, at a time when fleeing groups of the militia infiltrated towards the village of (Wawsi Sheikh Abdul-Gadir), which is about 7 km away from the refinery. At the same time, SAF liberated the city of Al-Gaili. The army succeeded in bypassing numerous minefields and was able to remove about 500 mines on its way to the refinery.

SAF operations on Wednesday in the North Bahri area came with extensive air coverage from the Air Eagles and the drone unit that monitored and targeted gatherings and bases of the Janjaweed and the fleeing terrorist elements.

A military source said to (Sudanese Echoes) that the terrorist militia of Al-Dagalo is suffering from a shortage of ammunition as well as hunger due to the siege imposed by our armed and supporting forces on the rebellious elements and mercenaries in Al-Gaili refinery.

The source pointed out that SAF moved in large areas from Al-Saggay area to the whole of Al-Gaili without any significant resistance, explaining that the Janjaweed elements fled to the farms. While the forces of the Third Infantry Division moved from the northern direction of the refinery, the east and the north-west, and tightened their grip on the refinery and took over all the villages of Hajar Al-Asal.

Meanwhile, Al-Kadro and the Signal Armies carried out rapid leaps and confusing attacks on the militia in the southern Bahri hub. SAF stormed the Ibrahim Malik Campus in Al-Safiya area, the largest stronghold for the militia snipers near Al-Inqaz Street, and the militia retreated and completely collapsed in Al-Safiya area and withdrew towards Al-Hijra, Al-Sababi and Al-Danagla neighborhoods.
