President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, saluted the martyrs of Sudan who sacrificed their lives for this country, including the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity.
He said that we must learn from this war to build a state that is different from what it was in the past.
Al-Burhan explained, while addressing the conclusion of consultations of national and societal political forces on drawing a roadmap for Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue and establishing peace and political consensus, that the recommendations and outcomes should be based on this gathering and presence of national and societal political forces its to complete the transitional period.
Al-Burhan said that these forces will be an integral part of the victory that is to be achieved in the whole Sudan.
He explained that the door is still open to anyone who takes a national stance, adding, “We welcome anyone who raises his hand from the aggressors and sides with the national rank.”
Al-Burhan directed the competent authorities in passports not to prevent anyone from obtaining a passport and identification papers as long as he is Sudanese. He stated that we do not oppose people because of their opinions, and any person has the right to speak against the regime and criticize it, but he does not have the right to destroy the homeland and undermine its principles.
TSC President said “We want this dialogue to be inclusive for all political and societal forces. The coming period will witness the formation of a government to complete the transitional tasks.” He added that this government can be called a caretaker or a war government, but its purpose is to assist the state in completing the remaining military work, which is to cleanse all of Sudan of these rebels.
He indicated that the government will be made up of independent national competencies.
TSC Presidentt sent a message to the National Congress about the need to stay away from political outbidding, adding that if the National Congress wants to rule, it must compete in the future with the rest of the political forces.
Al-Burhan affirmed his determination to move forward towards building a Sudanese state that will have a significant role in the future.
TSC President said that after the approval of the constitutional document, a prime minister will be designated to carry out his duties in leading the executive organ of the state without any interference.
He reiterated that there will be no negotiations with the rebels, and if they lay down their weapons and leave the homes of citizens and civil objects, then we can talk to them. “There are those who offered us a ceasefire in Ramadan in order to facilitate the delivery of aid to El-Fashir,” he disclosed, but we confirmed that we will not accept a ceasefire in light of the siege imposed by the terrorist RSF militia on the city.
He said that the ceasefire must be followed by a withdrawal from Khartoum, West Kordofan and Darfur states and the gathering of forces in specific centers.
