Army Recaptures New Strategic Area in North Kordofan

Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced full control over the strategic area of Alouba, located south of Al-Rahad city in North Kordofan state, after clearing it of rebel elements.

In a video circulated by army personnel from inside the town, soldiers were seen deployed across Alouba’s streets and entry points, declaring the area secured and celebrating what they described as a significant victory.

The development is expected to tighten pressure on the supply lines of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in North Kordofan, as the army advances efforts to consolidate control and restrict the militia’s movement in the region.
