Army Drones Invade and Comb Nyala’s Skies

Local residents in Nyala have confirmed hearing the sounds of drones flying over the city repeatedly over the past few days.

Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that they heard the sounds of a drone flying over the city more than five times in April.

According to a military source, who spoke to Darfur 24, these drones were reconnaissance flights and stopped after the airport was targeted before resuming flights this week.

The Sudanese army targeted Nyala International Airport earlier this month in its first attack since the Rapid Support Forces shot down a fighter jet last March.
