Ardol discloses details of the first disagreement between Al-Burhan and Hemeidti

Interview: Mohamed Al-Fatih – Al-Nahhas – Bukhari

Mubarak Ardol, Head of the Democratic Alliance for Social Justice, has disclosed new details about the December revolution and the struggles of the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC) for power.

In an interview with (Sudanese Echoes), Ardol said that the December revolution was real and not fabricated. He pointed out that the Forces of Freedom and Change did not expect the fall of the Salvation regime, as their greatest ambition was to shake it up.

Ardol acknowledged that the Forces of Freedom and Change were not mandated. He emphasized that the transitional period failed due to the FFC’s attempt to co-opt the revolution and seek to empower a civilian, totalitarian regime instead of arranging for a transition through elections.

In the same context, Ardol revealed details of the disagreement between President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSF), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, and the militia commander, Hemeidti. He explained that the rebel Hemeidti disagreed with Al-Burhan over the formation of the government following the corrective measures taken on October 25, during which undersecretaries were assigned to run the tasks of ministries.
