Any Sudanese citizen without an ID card will be prohibited from boarding travel buses

The Sudanese Transport Chambers Union, represented by the National Chamber of Travel Bus Owners, revealed the issuance of a security decision prohibiting any citizen from boarding travel buses unless they are carrying an official identification document.

Identification documents include a national ID number, national ID card, passport, work card, or regular forces’ card.

A circular issued by the Chamber’s Secretary-General, Maj. Gen. Police (Retired) Ahmed Mustafa Bashir, confirmed that the decision was based on directives from the security authorities and it will be implemented immediately without further delay, and bus owners are warned of the consequences of violating the decision.
