Among them medical staffs… raped women by RSF militia in Al-Gezira aborted

The Preparatory Committee of the Sudanese Doctors Syndicate revealed that 9 abortions were performed on raped women from one of the towns in eastern Al-Gezira during the past week. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia carried out revenge campaigns last October on villages in eastern and southern Al-Gezira, and during those attacks, serious violations were committed that are not separate from those it has been committing since it took control of the state a year ago.
A member of the Preparatory Committee of Sudanese Doctors, Adiba Ibrahim Al-Sayid, told Sudan Tribune that 9 abortions were performed on raped women in a hospital in one of the cities of Al-Gezira State during the past week. She added that among the raped women were two medical personnel who were kidnapped by the militia from a hospital in eastern Al-Gezira after the militia attacked villages there.
