(Al-Sayir and Abu Shaiba), the most prominent militia commanders, killed in airstrike in El-Fashir

 

The army announced the killing of a major commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the El-Fashir axis, at the same time that the warplanes carried out intensive air sorties in the vicinity of El-Fashir and Zalingei and were able to destroy a large number of combat vehicles, as well as tanks and armored vehicles, besides warehouses for drones, ammunition and weapons.

 

The Sixth Infantry Division said, in a press release, that the warplanes were able to kill the second commander of the militia in El-Fashir (Al-Sayir Abdullah) in the eastern hub of El-Fashir, adding that a large number of militia members were also killed and dozens of them were wounded.

 

The release indicated that the army and the joint forces destroyed a number of combat vehicles and killed about 12 snipers in the southern axis of El-Fashir.

 

The six division revealed the outbreak of tribal disputes and divisions among 0ther militia elements after the killing of the militia commander in the Kafoot axis west of El-Fashir (Youssef Abu Sheeba) in an airstrike three days ago, and the announcement of his death led to the withdrawal of more than 23 combat vehicles from El-Fashir to Al-Geneina.

 

The army confirmed that the militia is suffering from a severe shortage of food, medicine and fuel, which has limited their movements around El-Fashir. Meanwhile, the Air Force carried out raids on the militia’s weapons, ammunition and drone stores in Zalingei at the headquarters of the Bank of Sudan.
